Outreach is another word for popular education. IWF staff conducts presentations and workshops for communities and organizations across Wisconsin with a four-part message:
- Remember how much we all rely on public structures
- Focus on the link between state tax policy and local service quality
- There are tax reforms that can help everyone
- Get involved to ensure adequate state support for schools, roads, public safety, health care, economic development and other necessary systems.
IWF presentations can last for 15 minutes or over an hour depending on the time available. Currently, we work with four kinds of groups – leadership and professional organizations, business associations, labor unions and community groups. The presentations are tailored to fit a specific audience and region so the message is delivered in a relevant manner.
